Pillar of death

A male in his mid-twenties, Imms Hangula, died yesterday, after his car slammed into the bridge pillar under Florence Nightingale Street leading to Khomasdal on the Western Bypass. When Namibian Sun arrived at the scene just before 6:00 yesterday morning, there were no visible brake marks on the road. The body was still trapped in the car. The City of Windhoek Emergency Services had to use the ‘Jaws of Life’ to free his body from the wreck. His next of kin have been informed. By the time of going to print the cause of the accident was still unknown.
