Dyna fails to impress

Artist name: Dyna Album title: The Design of Destiny * This has been a tremendous year for local music. Despite the many challenges that our music industry still face, there is no doubt that Namibian artists have stepped it up a notch and have produced albums that are impressive. It’s with this in mind that I was excited to listen to Dyna’s new album. Not only do I always find myself rooting for artist who is relatively unknown, but the album artwork is also very beautiful, which raised my expectations. Read more about Dyna fails to impress

Jossy Joss pays tribute to Catt

No one could excite like Catty Catt.
He always seemed to make one laugh, even when you felt like you should be angry.
He would pop in at my office with no appointment, and then wait while speaking to everyone at the top of voice.
We started being family back in 2004, when I was busy recording my album and he was doing a few songs with Kanibal.
Catt had a song on radio at the time and was a huge fan of Sackman’s Rap Attack on Energy 100fm every Fridays.
He acted like he had known me for many years and showed me so much respect.

Fashion Police

Tomorrow night is the Theatre and Film Awards. Please steer clear of leather, velvet and satin, which are so outdated and redundant. Legal 1 Every girl wants to be a little princess at their matric farewell, but she managed to be a sassy and spicy princess. The colour compliments her skin tone and the touch of sexy is the cherry on top. Legal 2 You can never go wrong with a black suit. The suit fits him almost perfectly and the touch of white makes for a real classy look. We love it. Read more about Fashion Police

Luis in BBA quitting scare Our very own Luis Munana caused quite a scare this morning when there were rumours that he wanted to quit BBA Hotshots. Following yesterday’s exercise session, Rosa, Macky2, Kacey Moore, Alusa and Mr. 265 huddled together to discuss Luis and how it seemed he wanted to leave the show. The gents had discovered that Luis had slept outside and in the morning had rung the diary room bell to possibly tell Biggie that he wanted to leave the house. Housemates had discovered that his bags were packed and read that as a sign that he definitely wanted to leave. Read more about Gossip

Christian Müller, Brewmaster and Head Brewer said: “You can expect an easy drinking beer, suitable to the season and perfect for the event. The distinguished characteristics of this year’s Festbier are a palatable malty body and a subtle bitterness... The aroma is more biscuit-like than fruity with a low but noticeable hop flavour.”
