Berseba to run dry
The water supply at Berseba in the Karas Region might be disconnected today because the village council owes NamWater about N$1 million.
Berseba Village Council Secretary Thomas Dreyer said on Friday that the council had made an arrangement with NamWater to pay off their debt in monthly instalments starting in April.
We agreed to pay N$10 000 per month plus the monthly bill starting on April 15. We are planning on making another payment today [Friday], he said.
